The Tanzzentrale of the Nuremberg Region is the artistic home of freelance dance artists working in the region. It offers space for production and research, for discourse, exchange and networking for the dance community and for the dance-interested public since it was founded in 1997. Financially supported by the cities of Nuremberg, Fürth and Erlangen and the State of Bavaria, the Tanzzentrale provides professional rehearsal conditions for 10 to 15 productions annually, which, after regional premieres, tour nationally and internationally.
A wide variety of co-operations and projects enhance our regular programme of professional training and workshops.
Der Netzwerktag „Open fo(u)r Exchange“ ist der Abschluss des diesjährigen Residenz-Austauschprojekts zwischen Nürnberg/Fürth, München, Mannheim und Freiburg. Eingeladen sind alle Tanzschaffenden und Kulturinteressierten aus dem süddeutschen Raum.
Mit dem Recherecheprojekt „inner WILD“ ist die Künstlerin Belinda Winkelmann vom 18. – 28. November zu Gast in der Tanzzentrale. Die Residenz findet im Rahmen des Netzwerkprojekts Fo(u)r Exchange statt.
Wir freuen uns außerordentlich darüber, dass die Tanzzentrale in diesem Jahr einen der mit 4.000 € dotierten Preise erhält und bedanken uns sehr herzlich dafür. Unser herzlicher Glückwunsch geht auch an die anderen Preisträger*innen. Die Verleihung findet am Sonntag, den 17. November um 18 Uhr im Kulturforum Fürth in Form einer Gala statt.
